- Entry is free for people born and/or residing in Cordoba, upon presentation of an official document.
3.1. Rules prior to the visit
- Visitors are advised that climbing the Bell Tower has restricted access, as the characteristics of the construction prevent it from being visited by children of a certain age, the elderly, and people who do not have reasonable physical capacity or who have health problems that could be aggravated by the special conditions of the place. Thus, for security reasons, wheelchairs, baby strollers, elderly people or people with reduced mobility, pregnant women, or people suffering from vertigo, anemia, dizziness, claustrophobia, heart or respiratory problems may not go up. Likewise, children under 7 cannot visit the Tower and those between 7 and 14 must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Keep in mind that you are going to visit a structure with pedestrian access only, climbing narrow stairs with a high number of steps of a significant height. The climb covers a height of approximately 40 meters, equivalent to a 12-story building.
- The organization may deny the visit to the Tower to anyone who does not meet the established requirements and reserves the right to modify or limit the visitable spaces of the Tower for reasons of security, restoration, maintenance, adverse weather conditions, or specific events.
- Visits will take place in the morning and afternoon, according to the established shifts. Each slot will last 30 minutes with a maximum capacity of 22 people.
- The visit will be carried out in a synchronized manner and for a specific duration, following the instructions of the staff accompanying the group. In this regard, it must be understood that, given the small number of daily slots, the duration of the visit is limited; otherwise, the number of daily visitors would be minimal. Thus, a maximum number of 260/300 visitors per day is expected.
- During the visit, it is forbidden to carry objects that hinder movement, such as suitcases, bulky bags, or medium and large backpacks.
- The user must arrive at the access control, located at the foot of the Tower, sufficiently in advance of the scheduled time for the visit, waiting in the reception area. The visit will start punctually.
3.2. Rules during the visit
Once the access control has been carried out by the staff in charge, the visit to the Tower will begin with the following guidelines and times:
- The group will begin to climb, led by the staff, until reaching the Baroque small dome (15 meters high), where a brief stop will be made to reorganize.
- Next, you will ascend to the first bell chamber (35 meters high), where another stop will be made, continuing the climb to the second and last visitable chamber (45 meters high).
- Afterward, a few minutes will be given to take photographs and enjoy the panoramic views.
- Once the time is up, following the instructions of the staff in charge, the descent to the foot of the Bell Tower will begin, where the visit ends.
Likewise, the visitor must take into account the following rules:
- No smoking or eating any type of solid food.
- Do not throw any type of object.
- Do not remove any element belonging to the Tower.
